May 18, 2026 – Limassol, Cyprus — Global prime broker EXANTE today announced the launch of Allocator, a new portfolio management infrastructure helping asset managers scale operations by deploying and rebalancing investment strategies across multiple client accounts more efficiently and with lower operational risk.

The shift toward more personalised portfolio management is increasing operational complexity across the investment industry. Managers are expected to oversee growing numbers of client portfolios, each with different allocation preferences, restrictions, and mandates, while still applying investment decisions quickly and consistently. Yet portfolio updates and rebalancing still rely on fragmented or partially manual workflows, increasing the risk of errors, allocation mismatches, and inefficient portfolio operations.

Allocator addresses this challenge by enabling managers to create a master portfolio framework and apply strategy updates, allocation changes, and rebalancing actions across multiple client accounts simultaneously through a unified execution workflow.

“The industry has spent years focusing on investment performance, but operational scalability is becoming just as important,” said Richard Forss, Chief Technology Officer at EXANTE. “Demand for separately managed accounts increased over the past year for more than 60% of both managers and allocators, with most expecting further growth over the next 12 to 18 months. Allocator brings the operational infrastructure and execution discipline to any asset manager, regardless of size.”

Allocator expands EXANTE’s portfolio automation and multi-account execution infrastructure for asset managers and professional investors, reinforcing the firm’s focus on delivering institutional-grade portfolio operations technology to a broader range of market participants. Key operational capabilities include:

Simultaneous multi-account deployment: Deploy an identical investment strategy across up to 20 client accounts in a streamlined process, removing the need to replicate trades manually.

Flexible portfolio construction: Build portfolios of up to 20 assets using either percentage-based target allocations or fixed quantities — providing the precision required for diverse client mandates.

Unified rebalancing: Update asset allocation across all linked accounts simultaneously. When market movements require a strategy adjustment, a change can be made across all client accounts in a specific set at once.

Unlimited draft portfolios: Create and save an unlimited number of draft portfolios, enabling managers to prepare, test, and version-control strategies before deployment.

It complements EXANTE’s existing multi-asset execution infrastructure, spanning equities, ETFs, bonds, futures, options, and cryptocurrencies across 50+ markets and 8 asset classes from a single multi-currency account.

The release reflects broader industry investment in operational automation and scalable portfolio infrastructure as asset managers increasingly prioritise technology-driven efficiency and workflow resilience.
