The EuroHedge Summit, that will take place in Palais de la Bourse in Paris between May 22-23, is Europe's biggest hedge fund event which attracts the industry's elite from around the globe. In its 10th anniversary, the event is expected to attract a high-quality audience of around 900 investors, managers and other key participants in the hedge fund industry.
The Summit offers topical content about hedge fund strategies and addresses the overall outlook for the hedge fund industry and financial markets.This year's event, to be held under the theme of 'Strategies for a Complex World', will look at the challenges and opportunities facing participants in hedge funds across the industry as a whole – and in specific investment strategy and business management areas. The programme will include various panels on macro, quant, equity and credit topics with a major session on CTA strategies as well.
Chris Hohn of The Children's Investment Fund and Martin Hughes of Toscafund are to be keynote speakers at this year's Summit, as well as Sir Paul Ruddock of Lansdowne Partners and Jonathan Lourie of Cheyne Capital. Other participants include Bruno Usai of Mako Investment Managers' Pelagus Capital group, who will be speaking on a panel on fixed income and credit that will also feature Geraud Charpin of BlueBay and Theo Phanos of CapeView. There will also be a dedicated session on the area of structured credit featuring Loic Fery of Chenavari.
