Yesterday, on March 14, our colleague, Karlis Liepins, dropped in Stockholm School of Economics in Riga to share his knowledge in algorithmic trading. Karlis has an excellent grasp not only of working in financial markets, but of automating this complex process as well.
We are glad that young generations get more curious and engaged in trading, and we are even more glad we can assist them in mastering it. During the lecture, Karlis touched on the basic terms and objectives of algorithmic trading and its most challenging aspects.
'All big breakthroughs in technology impose risks of abuse. Instead of fearing and fighting it, we should learn the proper use and control of these risks', summed up Karlis at the end of his presentation.
