'How to Adapt and Prosper in Compliance Age'

Last Wednesday, on November 16th, our VP Sales Guntars Pupelis took the floor at WealthPro Cyprus 2016, an event which brings together the features of an exhibition and a conference. Over 250 professional delegates involved in finance, gathered at Hilton Cyprus Hotel in Nicosia to discuss a variety of the most relevant topics in investment, personal wealth planning and international taxation.

Guntars Pupelis as one of the 20 speakers of the conference gave a presentation on one of the most vital issues for business owners nowadays, ‘How to Adapt and Prosper in Compliance Age’. During his presentation he spoke on the risk, regulatory, and compliance activities which financial institutions use to drive profitable growth. As part of his presentation he introduced ‘The Compliance Age Survival Kit’ and gave some tips on how to diversify risks by moving away from current compliance standards.

‘We believe we have found the goldilock zone between clients interests and the regulators demands’, noted Guntars referring to the regulatory compliance in terms of EXANTE’s business framework.

He explained that regulatory compliance for EXANTE is about its ability to achieve the outcomes it has promised its clients and stakeholders within the law. According to Guntars, only in this case compliance can be turned from a business cost to a business enhancer.
