We started autumn with useful events:) Last week we hosted two investing seminars in Riga, Latvia. On Wednesday, September 7, there was a discussion in Latvian, the next day it was held in Russian. We are glad that over 25 people interested in personal investments joined us for these informative events.
EXANTE investing seminars was a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who have solid background in investing and trading. EXANTE’s co-founder Gatis Eglitis was one of the speakers who shared his expertise in financial markets. During his presentation “Fail. Fail again. Fail better” he spoke out on the most tricky aspects of managing funds. Gatis shattered the most widespread investing myths including possibility of winning without diversification and safety of passive asset management. He explained how to behave on financial markets in order not to lose savings and yield with minimum risks.

The other speaker was Aldis Reims best known in the Baltic countries as an expert in trading bonds. The topic he delivered was called ‘Investing in Emerging Markets’. He made a comparison of the emerging countries in terms of debt as percentage of GDP, pointing out the most promising states.
After the informative presentations all the participants were invited to ask questions. As soon as the main part of the seminars was over, a nice dinner and further discussion on issues related to personal investments were awaiting them.

We are sure that EXANTE seminars came in useful for both experienced investors and those who are just planning to start managing their funds. We are glad that thanks to such events we can now share our expertise and give helpful advice on developing a right investment strategy.
