You may have noticed already that the Chart module of EXANTE ATP now features a new drop-down list. It serves as a switch of the chart type:
This new feature allows viewing charts not only on prices, but also on trades. We used to display charts only on quotes (if you opened charts on ticks) or mid prices (if you worked with aggregated charts), but since recently we have also implemented charts on trades for some instruments. Such charts are available if the market data on the corresponding asset is supplied.
In order to switch to the trades chart, choose the ‘Trades’ option in the drop-down list in the upper bar of the Chart module window. In such view, in the upper section of the window you will see the prices at which the trades were executed on the market, while the lower section will show their volume:
The information about trades is available for all stocks, futures, options and bonds, except:
The data is available since 2015: since June for the European markets and since September for the US.
In case you experience trouble with Trades and volumes charts, or if you have not found this information for some assets not listed above, please do not hesitate to contact us by firstname.lastname@example.org.
