Malta amongst top 5 EU Member States for lowest unemployment levels

Eurostat has reported that Malta has one of the lowest unemployment levels in the European Union, coming in amongst the top five between 2010 and 2011 in the October 2012 report.

Among the Eurozone members, further declines in unemployment levels were recorded in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland and Sweden, whilst the highest decreases in unemployment levels were experienced by the Baltic countries, in particular Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
