The Paris Stock Exchange is one of the oldest stock exchanges in the world. It was founded in 1724 and became the only legal centralized place for conducting exchange transactions. It is interesting that before those transactions took place in any random place. The site was closed only once, at the end of the 18th century because of the revolution. In 1989, the Bourse de Paris ranked 3rd among European exchanges, and in 10 years began to indicate quotes in euros.
